Job summary

Wiz in Ireland is seeking a Solutions Support Engineer to provide expert security support for the Wiz cloud-native platform, spanning cloud infrastructure, workload protection, and runtime defense across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

This role combines deep troubleshooting with AI-driven automation to scale operations. Requirements include 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles, hands-on Kubernetes, IAM, networking, and scripting experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• 2+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) incl IAM and networking.
• 1+ years deploying production Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, network segmentation, compliance).
• Experience reading/debugging code in Python, Shell, JavaScript/JSON, Java, Go, or Terraform/HCL.
• Proficiency with Linux and CLI tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve customer technical issues across cloud security posture management, vulnerability scanning, threat detection, container/Kubernetes security, IAM, network analysis, and data security.
• Troubleshoot cloud connector and integration failures across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and SaaS platforms, including IAM/permissions issues and API authentication.
• Diagnose workload scanning and runtime security issues including sensor configuration and malware detection.
• Analyze vulnerability findings, triage false positives, and assess SBOM/SCA results and patch coverage.
• Support shift-left security workflows including CI/CD scanning, IaC security, and Kubernetes connectors.
• Design and implement automation that scales the support offering using AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holidays, and weekends.
