Job summary

Partner Company in Ireland is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize AWS environments for diverse client needs. The role blends hands-on infrastructure engineering with advisory duties, enabling you to influence cloud architecture and implementation.

You'll work with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, containers, and automation to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions while prioritising security and cost efficiency for clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer working with AWS resources in production or client environments.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience configuring Kubernetes clusters and deploying containerized apps.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPC) and cloud security principles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain modular cloud systems within AWS environments.
• Advise clients on design, architecture, and implementation of AWS cloud technologies.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment challenges across cloud environments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD processes with GitLab, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters and support deployments in containerized environments.
• Design secure AWS networking and VPC configurations, and optimize costs and performance.
• Stay current with AWS services and industry best practices.
