Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Snr. Cloud Application Consultant to lead delivery of OpenText Cloud solutions, serving as a technical expert and escalation point for complex issues.

You will drive service excellence, guide best practices, and collaborate across teams to ensure stability, scalability, and client success. Required extensive IT support experience with enterprise apps, ITIL familiarity, and strong administration skills across Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and major web/app

Qualifications

• Extensive IT support/consulting experience with enterprise-scale apps.
• Experience with ITIL service delivery and cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure).
• Strong admin skills: Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, IIS/Apache/Tomcat/JBoss.
• SQL/SQL-like scripting in SQL, Shell, Java/JavaScript; strong communication.

As a Snr. Cloud Application Consultant, you will lead the delivery of reliable, high-performing OpenText Cloud solutions, serving as a technical expert and escalation point for complex operational issues. You will drive service excellence, guide best practices, collaborate across teams, and help shape the stability, scalability, and success of enterprise cloud environments.

What you need to succeed

• Extensive experience in an IT support or consulting environment supporting enterprise-level, multi-tiered applications
• Strong experience working within an ITIL-based service delivery framework and cloud platform technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Solid administration skills across Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, web servers, and application servers including IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss
• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, along with scripting or programming skills in SQL, Shell, Java, or JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service and resolving issues efficiently
• University/College degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience, with flexibility to participate in rotational shifts and on-call support
