Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking a Lead Cloud Application Consultant to drive the delivery of reliable, high-performing OpenText Cloud solutions. You will act as a technical expert and escalation point for complex operational issues, guiding best practices and collaborating across teams to ensure service excellence.

The role emphasizes production system administration, troubleshooting, and on-call support within a dynamic, enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT support or consulting for enterprise-level applications.
• Experience with an ITIL-based service delivery framework and cloud platform technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Solid administration skills across Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, web servers including IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, plus scripting or programming in SQL, Shell, Java, or JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• University/College degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience, with flexibility to participate in rotational shifts and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of reliable, high-performing OpenText Cloud solutions as a technical expert and escalation point for complex issues.
• Drive service excellence, guide best practices, and collaborate across Product Support, IT, Network Operations and Professional Services.
• Own production system administration, troubleshooting, and service restoration to ensure optimal system reliability and client success.
• Shape stability and scalability of enterprise cloud environments through proactive planning and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing team culture focused on operational excellence.
