Job summary

Domestic and General Property Support Services seeks an Area Manager to oversee cleaning services across multiple client sites. You will lead teams, ensure high standards, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will manage schedules, conduct audits, and drive improvements while ensuring health and safety compliance across all sites. A proactive leader who can grow service offerings is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in cleaning, facilities management, or related industry is highly desirable.
• Full clean driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple cleaning sites, ensuring services are delivered to a high standard.
• Ensure contract retention through high service standards and client satisfaction.
• Maintain client communication and service updates in Salesforce per company procedures.
• Act as main client contact and maintain strong relationships.
• Conduct site visits and audits to meet KPIs and service levels.
• Lead, support, and develop cleaning staff, including recruitment and training.
• Plan and manage annual leave and site cover for service continuity.
• Conduct probation reviews and performance meetings; support HR with disciplinary processes.
• Handle client queries and complaints; implement service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Promote a strong health & safety culture across sites.
• Maintain records, including reports, timesheets, and system updates.
• Identify opportunities for growth by promoting additional services
