Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Engineer for our civil project in the West of Ireland. You will review drawings, coordinate with consultants, and supervise site activities to ensure progress and quality.

Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years’ civil experience, strong Irish regulations knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Total Stations, GPS, and MS Office. Driving licence is essential; project offers extensive benefits and career development.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5-8 years' experience in civil engineering or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations and industry standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Total Stations, GPS surveying equipment, and Microsoft Office.
Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate design information and resolve technical queries with consultants and designers.
Monitor construction methodologies and propose improvements for efficiency and productivity.
Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to achieve programme milestones.
Monitor daily progress and productivity against project schedules.
Maintain accurate site records, test results, and quality documentation.
Support project handover and commissioning activities.
