Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor for a civil project based in the west of Ireland. The role is on-site, requiring professional QS qualifications and experience on large construction sites with subcontractors. You will advise on contractual matters, manage claims, maximise revenue, and support monthly cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on medium to large construction projects.
• Ability to work on large scale sites with multiple subcontractors.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on contractual matters – general and project level.
• Process contractual claims and all associated records.
• Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost; identify losses.
• Assist with project cash management.
• Prepare subcontract and suppliers documents and review monthly cost reports.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers on prices and terms.
• Ensure final accounts are closed in a timely manner.
