Job summary

Fingleton White invites applications for a Civil Project Design Engineer in Galway. You will join an established team with senior support and work on design and project delivery across energy infrastructure projects.

The role covers conceptual to detailed design for energy projects including renewables, gas and water installations. Office-based in Galway with hybrid options, you will develop technical skills and progress within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree (honours bachelor’s degree or higher).
• 5+ years post-graduate and relevant design experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English; excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design projects from conceptual phase through to completion (renewables, pipelines, utilities).
• Ensure compliance with planning, fire cert and DAC IPC requirements.
• Design of new and modified gas and water installations.
• Plan energy projects such as Solar, Hydro, CHP and power stations.
• Collaborate with senior team and project management.
