Position
Senior Civil Engineer – REF: 2602 (based in Dublin with potential postings to Portlaoise or Galway)
Responsibilities
- Project lead for design and contract management from conceptual phase to completion for energy projects such as power plants, renewables, pipelines and installations (gas, oil, water or wastewater), industrial buildings, and utilities.
- Statutory compliance for new developments, including planning, fire certification, DAC applications, and IPC license requirements.
- Building control compliance and design according to building regulations.
- Design requirements for energy projects such as solar, hydro, CHP, and power stations.
- Design of other energy infrastructure related projects.
- Lead a team of engineers, managing performance and developing competency.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering degree (Honours bachelor’s or higher).
- 7+ years post-graduate, relevant design experience (CEng beneficial but not essential).
- Understanding and experience with Eurocodes, Irish Building Regulations, and local authority planning standards.
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good academic record.
- Full clean driving licence and own transport required.
- Fluent written and spoken English (essential).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
