Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a proactive Childcare Coordinator for the Summerhill, Meath site. The role is full-time, on-site, with early morning and afternoon hours, supporting before/after school and holiday club activities for primary school children.

Ideal candidates have a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification, strong English communication, and experience with school-aged children. Garda vetting and two written references are required; own car is advantageous for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and leading a team.
• Experience working with school-aged children (min 2 years).
• Garda vetting completed after interview stage.
• Own car required for programme lead.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Two written references before starting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the day-to-day activities.
• Interact with the children, their families and other staff members.
• Lead and manage the programme team.
• Support morning and after-school sessions and holiday clubs.
