Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd is recruiting a Senior Cardiac Physiologist for a hospital in Cork, Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent role with modern cardiac facilities and advanced technology.

You will manage your clinical workload, provide mentorship, and lead in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiac testing, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care in line with international guidelines.

Qualifications

• BSc in Clinical Measurement from TU Dublin or equivalent.
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from TU Dublin or equivalent.
• Current BSE and/or EACVI accreditation.
• Minimum three years post-qualification experience in echocardiography and/or cardiac catheterisation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage own clinical workload efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.
• Provide support and supervision to staff in line with departmental requirements.
• Deliver mentorship and clinical guidance to junior staff, with active involvement in training and professional development.
• Provide clinical leadership in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiac testing, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
