Job summary

Beacon Hospital in Dublin is seeking a Clinical Specialist Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography for a fixed-term/full-time role. You will provide leadership in diagnostic tests for cardiovascular conditions and support both invasive and non-invasive procedures, working closely with consultants and the cardiology team.

Qualifications

• This role requires leadership in diagnostic testing and patient care.
• Experience in cardiology non-invasive and invasive procedures is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostics and equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the performance of diagnostic tests for cardiovascular systems.
• Supervise Cardiac Physiologists and participate in staff recruitment.
• Maintain clinical standards and training needs within the department.
• Ensure timely production and delivery of patient procedures.
• Develop training plans and participate in staff evaluations.
• Maintain infection control and a safe working environment.
• Update knowledge with new developments in cardiology.
