Job summary

Ingenio is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to take ownership across discovery, requirements, delivery and implementation within a major General Insurance transformation programme.

You’ll lead discovery sessions, translate business needs into epics and user stories, collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers and technology teams, and use Jira/Confluence to manage requirements and support UAT, go-live and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Business Analysis experience.
• General Insurance experience, ideally Business/Commercial Lines.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience across Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall environments.
• Strong process and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions, workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Understand current-state processes, data and pain points, then shape the target state.
• Translate business needs into clear epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Scrum Masters and technology teams.
• Use Jira & Confluence to manage and refine requirements throughout delivery.
• Apply your General Insurance knowledge across Business/Commercial Lines, underwriting and policy administration.
• Lead/support UAT, including scenarios, scripts, defect triage and business sign-off.
• Support go-live, hypercare, training and operational readiness.

This is not a BA role where you simply gather requirements and hand them over.

This is a hands‑on, business‑facing role where you’ll lead discovery, challenge existing processes, and work closely with both business and technology teams to deliver change.

Ingenio is supporting a major General Insurance transformation programme, and we’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to take ownership across discovery, requirements, delivery and implementation.

What you’ll be doing

Must‑Have (Non‑Negotiables)
