Cognizant in Ireland is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a hybrid role, with six to ten years of hands-on experience in business analysis and planning to optimize processes, improve decision making, and support strategic initiatives for an international organization.

The analyst will collaborate across functions to translate complex business needs into clear actionable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer value, with additional advantage if familiar with cards

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of progressive experience in business analysis and planning for complex projects.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process modeling and documentation.
• Analytical reasoning and data-driven prioritization and measurement.
• Familiarity with cards and payments domain concepts and risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a hybrid environment.
• Understanding of project delivery and change management principles.

Responsibilities

• Fund administration and investor servicing domain knowledge.
• Understanding investor onboarding models, transfer agency and lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of AML / KYC regulatory frameworks, FATCA and CRS obligations; jurisdictional differences.
• Definition and governance of project scope, assumptions and constraints; change controls.
• Translate business operating models into system configuration, workflows and data flows.
• Create comprehensive business cases and impact assessments quantifying benefits, costs and risks.
• Design analytical models and planning frameworks to support forecasting and capacity planning.
• Prepare functional specifications and user stories guiding tech and operations teams.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target state; recommend practical changes.
• Coordinate and execute user acceptance validation activities and test planning.
• Provide ongoing performance monitoring through dashboards and reviews.
• Support stakeholder communication with structured reports and presentations.
• Apply knowledge of hybrid work practices to requirement sessions and workshops.
• Leverage cards and payments domain exposure to enhance analysis quality.
• Ensure adherence to governance documentation standards and ethical practices.
