Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in Dublin. The role follows a hybrid work model with on-site presence two days per week.

You will engage stakeholders, elicit requirements, and translate them into functional specifications while supporting testing and release activities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business analysis, strong SDLC knowledge, and experience with both agile and waterfall approaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Designer or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with business process modelling tools and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, document requirements and translate them into deliverables.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and define scope.
• Provide inputs into business cases and identify risks and gaps.
• Develop functional specifications, process maps and use case docs.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure requirements are implemented.
• Support testing by preparing test cases and assisting with UAT.
• Assist in release activities including demos, docs and stakeholder training.
• Identify process improvements and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Support change management and stakeholder communications throughout the project.
