Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Business Analyst in Ireland to connect business needs with technology solutions, analysing processes and using data-driven insights to support decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to drive transformation across the organisation.

The role requires experience in data analytics, Power BI and Agile/ Scrum, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on data analytics, digital transformation or technology-enabled projects.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience producing user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, use cases and functional specifications.
• Ability to analyse business challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience communicating effectively with stakeholders at different organisational levels.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Experience working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience using DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience working with Power BI.
• Experience supporting Agile, Scrum or similar delivery methodologies.

• Provide guidance and support on business analysis approaches, tools and standards.
• Maintain awareness of developments in business analysis, data utilisation and public sector transformation.

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

• Knowledge of housing-related datasets, reporting requirements or government programmes.
• Experience contributing to data analytics initiatives and reporting projects.

• Salary Range: €65,000-€74,000
