Job summary

Silent Aire in Dublin is seeking a Senior Building Services Engineer to lead the design and delivery of modular data centre building services from concept to site integration. You will author and maintain DoO and control narratives, collaborate with BIM, controls, manufacturing and commissioning, and ensure performance, redundancy and energy efficiency.

The role requires a degree in Building Services Engineering and extensive experience in mission-critical environments, with a preference for

Qualifications

Degree in Building Services Engineering.
Extensive experience in MEP design for mission-critical or data centre environments.
Experience with modular or off-site manufactured systems is desirable.
Ability to translate design intent into clear operational documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical and electrical building services design for modular data centre units.
Develop designs from concept through detailed design supporting off-site manufacture.
Produce and review calculations, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including BIM, controls, manufacturing, and commissioning.
Author and maintain Descriptions of Operation and control narratives.
