Jones Engineering is seeking a Building Services Design Manager to lead M&E design for high-value projects from Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role emphasizes technical design, coordination, and value engineering across pre-construction through to handover and commissioning.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of M&E design experience, data centre familiarity, and strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office and BIM workflows.

Competenze

• Honours Degree in Building services or related Mechanical/Electrical discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on mechanical and electrical (M&E) project design experience.
• Data Centre project experience is advantageous.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills; proficient in MS Office.

Mansioni

• Deal with all design aspects of the project from preconstruction through to completion.
• Review project documents to support design reviews.
• Assist in development of Design Deliverable Schedule with Client, Project Manager, Design Team and Consultants.
• Develop and manage the Design Development Process ensuring value engineering and constructability consideration.
• Control the design process from start to finish (RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 5).
• Manage workload distribution within preconstruction and design teams.
• Chair weekly meetings with stakeholders to address technical issues and align with deliverables.
• Liaise with project team on costings and design reports; support BIM workflows.
