Job summary

Design Build Search are recruiting on behalf of one of Irelands fastest growing construction companies for a Building Services Manager responsible for the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of MEP systems across complex projects including pharma facilities, data centres and logistics warehouses.

You will lead MEP teams from design through commissioning, coordinate with civil, structural and architectural colleagues, review contractor designs, ensure GMP standards are met, and

Qualifications

• Must hold qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in MEP/building services roles.
• Strong experience in pharma, data centre, or logistics projects (or combination).
• Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects.
• Low Voltage Appointed Person certification (LVAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, and architectural teams.
• Review and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure systems meet project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards.
• Drive value engineering and technical innovation.
• Resolve technical issues and design conflicts.
• Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards are met.
• Oversee cleanroom systems, HVAC validation, and environmental control.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Commercial awareness and cost control expertise.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with BIM and digital construction tools
