Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a seasoned BMS Service Technician to service customer sites across Dublin. You’ll configure and commission building control systems, maintain documentation, and create detailed service reports while ensuring safety and high customer satisfaction.

You will work with project teams, support pricing and design efforts, and promote JCI cloud and OpenBlue technologies on a mobile, hybrid basis across client sites in Dublin.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in control systems as a service engineer.
• HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications/diplomas in relevant areas welcomed.
• Working knowledge of Metasys systems (advantageous).
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned service tasks on client sites, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Configure and commission building control systems and network-level controllers.
• Maintain system documentation and modify software using established standards.
• Document service activities and create service reports.
• Promote safety and adopt a Zero Harm mindset.
• Support Key Account Managers with project pricing and design.
• Advocate JCI cloud-based and OpenBlue technologies.
