Job summary

JOHNSON CONTROLS in Ireland seeks a skilled BMS Engineer to shape client BMS systems and link projects with service delivery, delivering energy efficiency and reliable control solutions.

You will collaborate with customers, account managers, service and project teams to identify risks, develop roadmaps for future-proofing systems, and provide high-level technical support across commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or electrical/electronic qualifications required.
• 5 years of experience in control system commissioning preferred.
• Experience with AHU controllers and networks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs and identify commissioning issues with the project manager.
• Prepare cost estimates and scope with Operations; assist in proposals.
• Coordinate with M&E and end user; report deviations from design.
• Lead factory acceptance tests and handover documentation.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance and proper handover.
• Load and commission system and network controllers; verify functionality.
• Maintain progress records and liaise with supervisor on issues.
