An established construction company is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join its Dublin head office. The successful candidate will work closely with the BIM/Digital Construction, Design, Engineering and Site teams, coordinating BIM requirements across a portfolio of live and upcoming construction projects.

This is primarily a head-office-based position, supporting project teams from pre-construction through delivery and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural and M&E disciplines.
• Create, manage and maintain federated project models.
• Carry out clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks.
• Work closely with Design Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and site teams.
• Coordinate models received from consultants, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, naming conventions and information requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Manage BIM information within the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Produce coordination drawings, model extracts and construction information as required.
• Chair or participate in BIM/design coordination meetings.
• Identify design and coordination issues before they impact construction on site.
• Support project teams with Revit, Navisworks and other digital construction technologies.
• Maintain accurate model information throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Support handover requirements, including as-built models and digital O&M information.
• Promote BIM best practice and consistent digital workflows throughout the business.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or qualification in BIM, Digital Construction, Architectural Technology, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Ideally 3+ years' experience in a BIM Coordinator or similar role.
• Previous experience working with a main building contractor is highly desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 or similar CDE platforms.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, sequencing and site operations.
• Experience coordinating architectural, structural and M&E models.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and construction teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 BIM processes would be advantageous.
