Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment is seeking an experienced bid professional to own the public-sector bid pipeline in Ireland and drive winning submissions.

You will identify opportunities across eTenders and procurement channels, shape bid strategy, price submissions, and collaborate with Commercial, Finance and senior stakeholders to win significant public-sector contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing end-to-end bids and tenders, ideally within the Irish public sector.
• Strong understanding of public procurement, eTenders and framework opportunities.
• Excellent proposal-writing, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with pricing, costings and stakeholder management.

This is a key role focused on winning and growing public-sector business, managing opportunities from initial identification through to bid strategy, pricing, submission & beyond!

You’ll take ownership of the public-sector bid pipeline, identifying new opportunities across eTenders & procurement channels, while developing compelling, commercially focused submissions.

You will have:

• Proven experience managing end-to-end bids and tenders, ideally within the Irish public sector.
• Strong understanding of public procurement, eTenders and framework opportunities.
• Excellent proposal-writing, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with pricing, costings and stakeholder management.
• Background in Facilities Management or another B2B services environment would be advantageous.
