Job summary

Planet is seeking an experienced BI Data Analyst to join our BI Analytics team. You will transform large-scale datasets into meaningful business recommendations and automated processes, using PowerBI and SQL to drive insights across Payments, DCC, Tax-Free and Hospitality.

You will work with data engineers on scalable ETL, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of the BI function in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• PowerBI expertise with DAX, automated reports, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills with large cloud-based datasets (Snowflake).
• Experience in data modelling and data pipelines (dbt or equivalent).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure).
• Basic ETL knowledge and collaboration with data engineers; version control with GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and generate insights from large datasets across Payments, DCC, Tax-Free, and Hospitality.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable PowerBI dashboards that inform decision-making.
• Promote process automation and optimization through BI tools.
• Lead end-to-end projects from ideation to delivery, aligning with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications and ensure proper implementation.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure efficient ETL pipelines and data governance.
• Stay updated on BI trends and encourage innovation within the team.
