SQL experience is beneficial. Hybrid work in Dublin.

Long term day rate contract with potential for extension Dublin based, hybrid working Created as part of investment in to reporting capabilities Partnering with a client on the recruitment of a Senior BI Analyst to join a growing data team, with a strong focus on building high-quality Power BI reporting and turning data into useful business insight. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting into the data, understanding what it is telling them and building reports that genuinely help people make better decisions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business and have plenty of ownership over the reporting you produce.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and turn them into effective reporting.
• Analyse data, identify trends and investigate unusual results or performance changes.
• Question the data and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
• Develop KPIs, measures and clear visualisations.
• Improve existing reporting and identify opportunities to make better use of available data.
• Ensure reports are accurate, intuitive and easy to use.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Experience

• Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Comfortable working with complex datasets and investigating data independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to turn business questions into clear, useful reporting.
• Good understanding of data visualisation and dashboard design.
• Confident working with business stakeholders.
• Ideally, experience in sales, retail, FMCG or another commercial environment.
• Experience with SQL would be beneficial.
• Microsoft Fabric experience is a bonus, but not essential.
