Phorest invites a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join the Reporting Team. You will shape high-scale distributed systems using event-driven design, Docker, and Serverless, delivering insights reports used by thousands of businesses worldwide.

You will collaborate with product and design to convert high-level requirements into shippable features, while maintaining high coding standards and continuous delivery. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented design with Java and at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and modern JS features.
• Experience building RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Ability to evaluate backend trade-offs and design scalable systems.
• Commitment to code quality, maintainability and testing standards.
