Job summary

Rent a Recruiter is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a complex public sector digital transformation in Dublin, Ireland. The role requires close work with business stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers to define and document requirements, establish baselines and ensure end-to-end traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Business Analysis.
• Experience leading BA activities on complex digital transformation projects in the public sector.
• Third-level qualification in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Visio.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation and agreement of business requirements.
• Maintain baseline and prioritised requirements register.
• Analyse current and future state business processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
• Define data and content migration requirements and mappings.
• Develop acceptance criteria and support UAT.
• Support delivery, supplier engagement and issue resolution.
• Assess impacts of defects and changes on requirements.
• Plan for operational readiness and transition to BAU.
