Job summary

MSD Dublin Biotech facility is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support critical automation systems used in biologics manufacturing. The role covers DeltaV DCS, OEM systems, data historians and digital platforms, with emphasis on troubleshooting, project delivery and continuous improvement.

You will lead changes, review control strategies, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable launch readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
5+ years of progressive automation or process control in a regulated GxP environment.
Experience with DeltaV DCS and industrial PLC/SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide senior automation support for manufacturing systems including DeltaV DCS and data historians.
Lead automation changes from scoping through implementation and closure.
Collaborate with Manufacturing operations, Quality, Validation, Engineering, IT and Digital teams.
Support site commissioning, qualification, validation and test execution activities.
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives involving system integration and data connectivity.
