Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a focus on automation. You will support prioritization and governance, mentor a small analytics team, and lead workshops to design automation solutions.

You will ensure comprehensive documentation of processes before and after automation, keep stakeholders informed, and drive continuous improvement across automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support project prioritization and governance.
• Coach and mentor a small team of business analysts.
• Lead or participate in workshops to define automation solutions.
• Ensure documentation of process requirements and flows before and after automation.
• Keep stakeholders informed of development status and scope.
• Lead or participate in issue identification and resolution.
• Contribute to milestone sign-offs and deployment readiness.
• Follow project governance and phase-based delivery.
• Provide reporting for automated solutions.
• Collaborate with process owners to drive operational improvements.
• Oversee continuous improvement of automated processes.
• Mentor developers and support delivery teams.
• Assist Developer Lead and Maintenance Lead to improve delivery.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting project’s prioritization
• Responsible for the management, coaching, and mentoring of a small team of more junior Business Analysts.
• Leads or participates in various workshops to define and design automation solutions
• Responsible of having documents for all process requirements and flow prior and after automation using standardize documents
• Responsible of all stakeholders being well informed of the status of development requirements and scope
• Leads and/or participates in the problem identification/error resolution process
• Participates on sign-off approvals by business and/or technical staff to certify successful results of milestone deliverable(s) or phase completion, including process development and deployment
• Responsible of following project governance (project phases)
• Responsible to have the relevant reporting in place for automated solutions
• Constantly liaise with process owners to raise operational improvements and brainstorm for automation ideas
• Oversees continuous improvement and optimization on automated processes
• Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors developers through formal and informal channels
• Offers support to Developer Lead and to Maintenance Lead, and collaborates with both to continuously improve delivery.
