Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Senior Engineer – Process Automation to lead the design, development and delivery of automation solutions across regulated manufacturing environments. The role requires deep expertise in control systems, programming and validation, with the ability to mentor engineers and drive project success from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Certifications in relevant automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and technical support of automation solutions adhering to Catalyx, and industry standards.
• Lead the installation, commissioning, and qualification, and support of automation solutions.
• Identify and own the resolution of complex technical issues in automation solutions.
• Assist in identifying and addressing risks and training gaps.
• Define and assign engineering tasks.
• Approve technical specifications, drawings, bills of material, and documents.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to other engineers with best practices and standards in mind.
• Support the sales team in the creation of quotes and proposals.
• Collaborate with project management team to ensure project success.

Job Summary:

The Senior Engineer will be a Subject Matter Expert who leads the design, development and delivery of automation solutions.

This person will leverage deep expertise in specific areas while maintaining a strong understanding of broader engineering principles. This person will provide mentorship to other engineers and guides team to successfully deliver project solutions. Continually refines expertise and stays at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Certifications in relevant automation platforms

• Rockwell Logix5000 Platform
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally. (Base Location is Ireland)
