Job summary

Crowe Ireland is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead high‑impact audit assignments across multiple sectors. You will deliver high‑quality reports, manage diverse client engagements, and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years of practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, FRS102 and CA2014 and ability to apply in audit strategies.
• Proven project management skills with ability to handle multiple audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills.
• Hands-on experience auditing a range of clients and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments across diverse industries with thorough planning and risk briefings.
• Draft and review financial statements and audit reports with clear recommendations.
• Manage multiple concurrent audits to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
• Collaborate with client teams, building strong relationships and facilitating the audit process.
• Provide mentoring to junior staff and keep partners informed of progress and issues.
• Ensure audits comply with FRS102, Irish GAAP, and budget constraints.

• Lead Audits: Take ownership of audit assignments across various industries, ensuring all projects are well‑planned, and teams are fully briefed on the specific risks and challenges.
• Deliver High-Quality Reports: Draft and review financial statements and audit reports with practical, actionable recommendations that address risks and control weaknesses, backed by solid reasoning.
• Juggle Multiple Projects: Oversee multiple concurrent audit assignments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
• Client Collaboration: Build strong, effective relationships with client teams across departments, making the audit process seamless and adding value to their business.
• Partner Briefings: Keep the Partner informed on all key issues, risks, and progress on audit assignments, ensuring smooth communication.
• Quality Delivery: Execute audits to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with FRS102, Irish GAAP, and addressing key risks within budget and timelines.
• Mentor Junior Staff: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members, helping them grow professionally while maintaining high performance on audit tasks.

About you

• ACA, ACCA, or Equivalent Qualification: Fully qualified with at least 3 years of practical experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, FRS102, and CA2014, with the ability to apply this in developing audit strategies and delivering exceptional results.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on client needs and audit quality.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and present findings effectively.
• Hands‑on Experience: Demonstrated experience working with a variety of clients across sectors and an understanding of audit‑related risk management.
