Job summary

GPC Finance in Dublin is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team, working with a diverse client portfolio across industries and gaining exposure to both audit and advisory assignments in a supportive environment.

The role involves planning, execution, and completion of audits, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified seeking progression within practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of audit experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Desirable: experience preparing financial statements and SME audits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.
  • Prepare audit files and financial statements in line with relevant accounting and auditing standards.

Our client, a well-established medium-sized accountancy practice in Dublin, is currently seeking an Audit Associate to join their growing Audit & Assurance team. The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries, gaining valuable exposure to both audit and advisory assignments while developing their technical and professional skills within a supportive environment.

Role
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a varied client portfolio.

  • Work closely with Audit Seniors, Managers, and Partners to deliver high-quality audit and assurance services.
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong professional relationships and responding to queries in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified, with a strong desire to progress within practice.
