Job summary

Signatus, a leading Irish commercial law firm, is recruiting a Senior Associate into its Employment Law practice in Dublin. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to advise major domestic and international organisations on complex employment matters, with meaningful responsibility from day one.

You will work across the full employment law lifecycle, including advisory and litigation work, with potential for long-term progression toward partnership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE in employment law.
• Qualification as a solicitor in Ireland or England & Wales.
• Strong experience advising employers/management-side clients.

The opportunity

Signatus are partnering with a leading Irish commercial law firm to recruit a Senior Associate into its highly regarded Employment Law practice.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced employment solicitor who wants to work at the upper end of the Irish market, advising major domestic and international organisations on complex contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

The practice has an established reputation for high-quality work and a significant corporate client base. You will join at Senior Associate level with meaningful responsibility for clients, matters and junior lawyers from the outset.

Importantly, this is a role that can offer genuine long-term progression for someone with partnership ambitions.

What you will own

You will work across the full employment law lifecycle, including:

• Advising employers on complex Irish employment law and workplace issues.
• Managing employment litigation before the WRC and civil courts.
• Advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management processes.
• Handling bullying and harassment matters, dismissals, restructures and redundancies.
• Managing the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Advising on employment issues arising from outsourcing, agency and other commercial arrangements.
• Developing and managing relationships with key clients.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing associates and junior members of the team.
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the employment practice.

What we are looking for

You will ideally have:

• 4+ years' PQE in employment law.
• Qualification as a solicitor in Ireland or England & Wales.
• Strong experience advising employers / management-side clients.
• Experience across both employment advisory and employment litigation.
• The ability to manage sophisticated clients and multiple matters simultaneously.
• Strong drafting, communication and commercial judgement.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues and clients.
