Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork seeks an experienced ASIC engineer to define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP/SoC development for high-performance, low-power products. You will collaborate with software and hardware groups to determine execution paths and meet system requirements.

Minimum 2+ years in ASIC design/verification with scripting skills is expected; Master's preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
• Experience with architecture and design tools and scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of library characterisation and sign-off workflows.

Responsibilities

• Defines, models, designs (digital and/or analog), optimizes, verifies, validates, implements, and documents IP/SoC development.
• Creates architectures, circuit specs, logic designs, and system simulations.
• Collaborates with software and hardware teams to meet system requirements.
• Assesses process flows from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power usage.
• Utilises RTL to GDS tools to enable block/SoC design and writes technical documentation.
