Senior Area Manager – Supported Living Services (CNM3)

Job summary

Cheeverstown House in south Dublin seeks an Area Manager, CNM3, to lead our Supported Living services for adults with intellectual disability. This senior role provides nursing and professional leadership, governance and development across designated centres.

You will drive rights-based, person-centred planning, ensure regulatory compliance with HIQA and National Standards, and work with families, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Be registered RNID with NMBI (Ireland)
• Minimum 5 years' post-registration nursing experience, with at least 3 years in health, disability or social care management
• Experience leading services and teams with governance, quality and safety, workforce management
• Strong knowledge of Health Act 2007, HIQA Regulations and National Standards
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, families and external stakeholders
• Hold a relevant management or healthcare leadership qualification
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle for travel between Cheeverstown locations

Responsibilities

• Provide senior nursing, management and governance across the assigned area
• Ensure rights and preferences of people supported are central to planning and decision-making
• Translate strategic priorities into effective service delivery and outcomes
• Oversee designated centres and fulfil PPIM responsibilities where appointed
• Ensure HIQA, National Standards and regulatory requirements are met
• Monitor quality, safeguarding, incidents, clinical governance and risk
• Lead workforce planning, staffing establishments and rosters
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate supports
• Represent Cheeverstown in external engagements
• Participate in on-call management roster
