Job summary

Cairn Homes is seeking a skilled Project Manager for Dublin to lead large-scale apartment/commercial builds. You will drive delivery from inception through Aftersales, align with the commercial team on cost control, and manage subcontractors and design teams to ensure quality and timely completion.

The role requires a degree in engineering or construction management and 7+ years of post-qualification experience, with strong knowledge of building regulations and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 7+ years post-qualification experience.
• Background in large scale mixed residential or commercial construction.
• Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
• Strong track record of driving high performing teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure works meet quality, programme, health & safety and environmental standards in line with Planning Permission and Building Regulations.
• Prepare and deliver Project Execution Plan including Procurement Strategy, Baseline Programme, Budget targets and risk mitigation.
• Own the commercial delivery of the project with the commercial team to ensure value creation and cost control.
• Manage relationships with project subcontractors and design teams to drive performance and timely information production.
• Develop and manage relationships with key project stakeholders including authorities, JV partners and local communities.
• Oversee full product lifecycle from inception to Aftersales, ensuring Cairn’s quality and presentation meet company standards.
• Lead value engineering and product development through project delivery with best-in-class building systems.
• Provide leadership to the project construction team, ensuring resources and development opportunities.
• Set standards of behaviour and accountability for project teams and drive succession planning.
• Promote engagement and culture within project teams; implement Cairn best practices in project controls and reporting.
• Embed proactive safety and quality management and embrace innovation and technology.
