Job summary

Staycity Group is seeking an Operations Manager for our 246-key Aparthotel on Francis Street, Dublin. You will support the General Manager across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue and sales while driving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in management with Front Office or Housekeeping exposure, strong people skills, and excellent adaptability to shifting guest needs and business demands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience preferred, with prior people management and Front Office or Housekeeping experience.
• Local market knowledge preferred.
• Adaptability to respond quickly to feedback, guest needs and operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all aspects of running the aparthotel including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue and sales.
• Monitor and action feedback from guest satisfaction surveys, 3rd party websites and clients during and after stay; resolve disputes professionally within guidelines.
• Ensure all departments operate within SOP quality standards; monitor feedback and act promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments; maintain good relationships and ensure regular communication across the team.
• Take on project work and ad hoc duties as requested by General Manager and Head Office functions.
• Produce forecasts for revenues and costs and ensure budgeting constraints are met; report shortcomings to GM.
• Manage and motivate a team of direct reports daily; ensure compliance with H&S and employment laws.
