Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment is seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer for our Cork-based global electronics client. You will design receiver ICs and LED/laser driver ICs for optoelectronic modules used in renewable energy, medical and industrial applications.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, at least five years of analog IC design experience, familiarity with fabrication processes, tape-out and production experience, and proficiency with Cadence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of analog IC design experience.
• Understanding of fabrication processes and their impact on circuit behaviour.
• Ability to create innovative and novel circuits.
• Knowledge of Cadence or Mentor Graphics tools.
• Must have full product development experience to tape-out and production.
• Candidates must be able to work and locate in Cork, Ireland.

THE ROLE

• Design receiver ICs for optoelectronic applications


• Design LED and laser driver ICs


• Carry out layout of critical analog block and supervision of IC Layout engineers


• Contribute to IC characterisation, test, and qualification engineering activities


• Work closely with production engineering teams to successfully release products to manufacturing

REQUIREMENT
