Job summary

You will manage a team of engineers, own the ASIC roadmap for optoelectronic applications, and ensure high-quality delivery to meet strict standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience leading analog/mixed-signal ASIC developments.
• Proven portfolio of analog/mixed-signal ASICs in production.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of design engineers.
• Fluent English and work authorisation for Ireland.

Job description

A Senior Analog Design Manager is needed for our Cork based semiconductor client. This role offers the opportunity to lead and control the complete development lifecycle of world-class mixed-signal and analog ASICs within a highly agile Irish semiconductor company. This is an onsite role in Cork Ireland.

THE ROLE:

• Lead a team of analog and mixed-signal design engineers, driving innovation and excellence
• Own the roadmap for ASICs in optoelectronic applications
• Lead the design and delivery of high-quality ASICs, meeting stringent industrial and quality standards
• Drive innovation in circuit design with novel methodologies, tools, and technologies
• Have technical and management responsibility for the team, including people management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in leadinganal/mixed-signal ASIC developments
• Demonstrate a successfulportfolio of analog/mixed-signal ASICs in production
• Proven leadership experience, managing teams of design engineers in a high-performance environment
• Programming in any of C, C++, Verilog, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, Python, Visual Basic.
• Candidates must have fluent English and have work authorisation for Ireland
