Job summary

OpenAI is seeking dedicated, experienced professionals to support customers as part of the User Operations team. You’ll troubleshoot high-impact issues with direct customer interaction, work with Engineering and Product to improve systems, and help scale support using automation and AI capabilities.

The role is based in Singapore with a hybrid model (3 days in the office per week) and relocation assistance for new employees. English fluency is required for resume submission and interviews.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in User Operations or similar technical roles.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Expert SaaS troubleshooting and high-stakes incident handling.
• Strong enterprise communication with customers and internal teams.
• Able to partner with Engineering, Product and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for customers.
• Provide end-to-end ownership through debugging and analysis.
• Serve as a trusted expert on OpenAI’s products and platform.
• Escalate and collaborate with Engineering to prevent recurring problems.
• Support automation efforts and AI-powered workflow improvements.
• Occasional holiday and weekend on-call coverage as needed.
