Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with enterprise and commercial accounts, translating complex business challenges into AI-powered Zendesk solutions. You will own technical discovery, solution design, and hands-on configuration to prove value to technical evaluators and business leaders.

You’ll lead technical validation, build POCs, and showcase AI-driven workflows while leveraging existing accelerators and API templates.

Qualifications

• Growth mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in technical presales or solution engineering.
• Proficiency with modern web tech (JavaScript, Python, Node.js), HTML/CSS, REST APIs, webhooks.
• Practical understanding of AI applications including LLMs and automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical validation phase of the sales cycle and respond to RFPs.
• Design solutions and integration topologies for enterprise deployments.
• Build and demonstrate agentic AI-driven workflows and POCs.
• Reuse accelerators, API templates, and middleware for complex architectures.
• Capture customer feedback to inform product improvements and roadmaps.
