Job summary

MUFG Investor Services seeks a highly skilled MLOps / Platform Engineer to join our AI initiative, focusing on deploying and managing AI agents across our infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Research & Data Science, backend and frontend teams to build secure, scalable, and cost-optimized platforms for AI workloads, with emphasis on observability, automation, and IaC using Terraform and Boto3.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering/DevOps.
• Hands-on with AWS services.
• Familiar with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, and observability tooling.
• Strong backend and automation skills (Python/Node.js/Go).
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AI agents on MCP servers and gateways.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry and Datadog.
• Ensure security, HA, and cost optimization across AI platform components.
• Provide infra and deployment support for AI researchers and engineers.
• Develop IaC using Terraform to provision cloud resources for AI workloads.
• Create automation scripts with AWS Boto3 for deployments across environments.
