Job summary

Adherent, a product company serving global regulators and enterprises, seeks a Senior AI Engineer in Ireland to drive AI in compliance. You will apply cutting-edge AI, build production-grade ML systems, and guide cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and compliance.

You will own end-to-end NLP and ML pipelines, optimize inference performance on AWS SageMaker and Kubernetes, and ensure explainability and ethical considerations across markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in production environments, with a strong industry track record of designing and architecting distributed systems.
• Proficient in Python with extensive experience in developing and deploying production-grade software, utilizing machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Deep understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices with a focus on the machine learning software development lifecycle.
• Extensive experience working with modern deep learning techniques, LLMs, and advanced NLP architectures building data intensive applications.
• Experience with techniques for optimizing ML inference performance.
• Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and managing batch and real-time ML pipelines/workflows for processing complex structured and unstructured data on AWS, utilizing SageMaker, ECS, EKS, Airflow and related tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams and across various disciplines.

• Establish processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment.
• Build and maintain ML infrastructure that can evolve with our growing needs.
• Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and compliance accuracy.
• Ensure our AI solutions maintain high standards of explainability and ethical considerations.
• Collaborate with product managers and compliance experts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
