Job summary

Nicoll Curtin partners with an Irish-based software company to recruit a Senior AI Engineer for a fully remote role based in Ireland. You will contribute to AI-driven products spanning NLP, LLMs, and scalable ML systems, influencing technical direction and product innovation.

You will design and deploy production-scale AI/ML solutions, work with AWS data pipelines, and collaborate with product teams to embed AI capabilities into core offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience building software and machine learning solutions in production environments.
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
• Proven experience working with LLMs, NLP, and modern deep learning techniques.
• Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Experience building data-intensive applications on AWS.
• Exposure to both batch and real-time machine learning pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-scale AI and ML solutions.
• Build applications leveraging NLP techniques and Large Language Models.
• Develop and optimise ML pipelines and cloud-based AI infrastructure.
• Take AI products from concept through to production.
• Work with product and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into core products.
• Drive best practices around model performance, reliability, and scalability.
