Job summary

Compliance & Risks is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of production-grade AI solutions for compliance across multi-market requirements. You will design NLP models, optimize ML inference, and build scalable pipelines on AWS to process structured and unstructured data.

You will work with product managers and compliance experts to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, shaping the architecture and governance of our AI platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in production environments.
• Proficient in Python with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Deep understanding of ML software development lifecycle and infra best practices.
• Experience with NLP, LLMs, and data-intensive apps.
• Experience building batch and real-time ML pipelines on AWS (SageMaker, ECS, EKS, Airflow).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

The Opportunity

As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of applying cutting-edge AI technologies to solve real-world compliance challenges. You'll work with a team dedicated to building AI-powered solutions that help global enterprises understand, manage, and automate their compliance processes across multiple markets and jurisdictions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement opportunities where AI can create tangible value for our customers in their compliance journey.
• Design and develop production-grade AI solutions that automate complex compliance tasks.
• Build and optimize advanced NLP models for regulatory document analysis and interpretation
• Contribute to finding the right ML framing of compliance challenges
• Create scalable AI systems that can handle diverse regulatory requirements across different markets.
• Technical Leadership
• Take algorithms from proof-of-concept to production, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Establish processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment.
• Build and maintain ML infrastructure that can evolve with our growing needs.
• Implement monitoring systems to track model performance and compliance accuracy.
• Ensure our AI solutions maintain high standards of explainability and ethical considerations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product managers and compliance experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into our core platform.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Key Skills that we are looking for:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in production environments, with a strong industry track record of designing and architecting distributed systems.
• Proficient in Python with extensive experience in developing and deploying production‑grade software, utilizing machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Deep understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices with a focus on the machine learning software development lifecycle.
• Extensive experience working with modern deep learning techniques, LLMs, and advanced NLP architectures building data intensive applications
• Experience with techniques for optimizing ML inference performance.
• Hands‑on expertise in designing, developing, and managing batch and real‑time ML pipelines/workflows for processing complex structured and unstructured data on AWS, utilizing SageMaker, ECS, EKS, Airflow and related tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams and across various disciplines.
