Job summary

Storyful is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to raise quality with AI-enabled automation and scalable testing across web UI, APIs, and data pipelines. You will transform natural language criteria into reliable tests, reduce flakiness with observability, and partner with engineers to embed testing early in the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Senior QA Automation Engineer with hands-on production experience.
• Strong Playwright/TypeScript development and AI tooling skills.
• Deep knowledge of automation frameworks, testing strategies, and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-augmented automation systems.
• Develop scalable automation across web UI, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Translate acceptance criteria into maintainable tests.
• Define knowledge-based test patterns and guardrails to reduce flakiness.
• Embed testing early in the lifecycle and enable shift-left quality.
• Create end-to-end test workflows for agentic AI features.
