Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork seeks an experienced ASIC/AI engineer to design scalable architectures and integrate AI models with APIs and tools. You will craft prompts, manage memory across workflows, and implement robust guardrails for production use.

Required are Python/JavaScript/TypeScript, LangChain or similar frameworks, solid LLM knowledge, and experience with RESTful APIs and vector databases. Relocation support and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years ASIC experience, or higher degrees with related work.
• Equivalent experience will be considered; candidate must demonstrate ability to fulfill duties.

Responsibilities

• Agent Architecture & Design: design system architecture breaking goals into executable steps.
• API & Tool Integration: connect AI models to external services, databases, and APIs.
• Prompt Engineering & Reasoning: craft system prompts, chain-of-thought pathways, and function-calling logic.
• Memory & State Management: implement memory systems to maintain context across conversations.
• Monitoring & Guardrails: define safety guardrails and error handling with human-in-the-loop workflows.
