Job summary

CField Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in Ireland. The role focuses on the day-to-day finance tasks, specializing in the Subcontractor Process and month-end close, ensuring valuations are processed efficiently and accurately, and supporting reporting and reconciliation tasks.

This is a full-time position with potential to move to part-time hours in the future, subject to operational requirements and agreement between both parties.

Responsibilities

• Daily Bank Reconciliations and updating of Group Cash Positions
• Responsible for Subcontractor Module from start to finish to include; checking & posting valuations, weekly payment of same after approval process and maintenance of Subcontractor Database including Insurances
• Responsible for raising Sales Invoices and issuing of weekly Debtors Report
• Updating Weekly Cashflow forecast
• Review and approval of all Vendor Payment Files and monthly creditors reconciliations once completed by Vendor Accounts Assistant.
• Reconciliation of all nominals on Trial Balance at month end
• Preparation of Bimonthly VAT Return and quarterly RCT Return and reconciliation of same.
• Weekly & Monthly Payroll to include, preparation and processing of payroll and month end payroll journals and reconciliation of payroll nominals.
• Responsible for Timesheet allocations and charge out rates for Job Costings.
• General administration to include but not limited to maintaining Inbox, addressing queries from internal and external contacts.
