Job summary

TechHeads are seeking an experienced Lead Security Enterprise Architect to shape our client's security strategy and architecture during a major cyber transformation. You will drive enterprise security principles, standards and roadmaps while translating business needs into secure, scalable technology solutions.

You will lead architecture governance across large programmes, mentor teams and partner with senior stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security/solution architecture or technology delivery.
• Experience operating at enterprise scale in complex or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of modern cyber security technologies, enterprise architecture and cloud security.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating business objectives into technology solutions.
• Track record delivering complex security or technology transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of security governance, risk, compliance and architectural assurance.

Lead Security Enterprise Architect – Shape Enterprise Cyber Security Strategy

TechHeads are looking for an experienced Lead Security Enterprise Architect for our client, a large and complex organisation undergoing significant technology and cyber transformation.

This is a strategic role combining enterprise architecture, cyber security, technology transformation and stakeholder leadership. You will help define security strategy and architecture while ensuring technology solutions support business priorities, resilience and long-term growth.

The Role

You will:

• Develop and evolve enterprise security architecture, principles, standards and roadmaps.
• Translate business and technology requirements into practical, secure and scalable solutions.
• Provide security architecture leadership across major technology programmes and transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with senior leaders, technology teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
• Partner with the wider Cyber Security function to identify and manage architectural risks.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the organisation's security capabilities.
• Provide architectural governance, assurance and technical direction.
• Produce clear architecture documentation and communicate recommendations to both technical and executive audiences.
• Lead, mentor and influence architects and technical specialists.

You will ideally bring:

• 10+ year's experience in security architecture, solution architecture, technology delivery or a related discipline.
• Experience operating at enterprise scale within a complex or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern cyber security technologies, enterprise architecture and cloud security.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and translating business objectives into technology solutions.
• A track record of delivering complex security or technology transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of security governance, risk, compliance and architectural assurance.
• Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field is desirable.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, GICSP, TOGAF or equivalent would be advantageous.
