Job summary

JPMorganChase in Ireland (Dublin) is seeking a Manager of Security Engineering to lead multiple security teams within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, ensuring their work aligns with compliance standards and business requirements.

You will drive delivery, establish secure-by-design practices, oversee roadmaps and backlogs, coach engineers, and partner with stakeholders to accelerate secure automation while maintaining risk and auditability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in security engineering or software engineering with several years of applied experience.
• Experience leading teams delivering security solutions operations and security engineering products.
• Experience guiding enterprise use of AI capabilities in security workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption and ensure security, resiliency and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to the security engineering team on daily tasks and sets overall guidance and expectations for output and collaboration.
• Leads team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to improve delivery speed and quality with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications meeting business requirements.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in line with compliance standards and SLAs.
• Establishes reuse-first practices for AI-assisted workflows with traceability and alignment to security and resiliency expectations.
• Manages team execution and delivery planning, prioritization, and agile ceremonies to meet timelines and quality.
• Supports hiring and team growth: recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and building a high-performing, inclusive engineering culture.
• Establishes secure-by-design engineering practices integrated into the SDLC/CI/CD.
